29.09.2011 - It's quiet... too quiet!

It's a world of indecision. Markets show no big movements, in neither direction. Suspicious silence.

GOLD

We see a sideways-trending market. Reason for this is the increase in COMEX-Future margins. This keeps back investors with small positions.

As the 1.600 point-mark keeps being tested and tested again without being broken, a price-increase to 1.650 and further 1.750 is very likely.

Stop-Loss is trailing to 1.530.

EUR/USD

Looking on the 5-year basis the EUR already reached its top at the upper trend-line per 2008.

This means that the EUR will lose its value compared to USD in the following 2 months.

A look on the chart shows that economical crisis like currently the "Euro-Crisis" come in regular periods. Even though everyone is looking for answers "why" all we need to know is that's this is very natural.

DJIA

Still there is no clear direction on the US-Markets. The August uptrend is not valid anymore and people are looking for a new ground.

If price stays above 11.000 points we will see a rise to 11.230 points. If the support is broken, a sell-off to 10.800 is expected.

EURO STOXX

The bear-market is still intact until the trend-line is valid.

As prices crushed through the September downwards-trend, we expect a consolidation to the August trend-line at 2.250 points.

S&P 500

August trend-line has been tested and prices are still trading below.

Prices will fall back to at least 1.145 points.

Should the index close at 1.190 points, above the trend-line, on daily basis, we will see a rise to at least 1.210 points.
